On Thursday, October 6, 2016, intellADAPT, a Boston based educational technology and Adaptive Learning Startup, held two events at The University of the District of Columbia, in Washington, DC. This was the first phase of the National Science Foundation funded pilot project which will provide opportunities for six participating Historically Black Colleges and Universities to explore and implement intellADAPT’s patented Adaptive 2.0 technology. This phase of the pilot will be ongoing over the next nine months.
The events held October 6th included a one-hour Open Discussion about intellADAPT’s Adaptive 2.0 education technology. This session was led by Dr. Nish Sonwalkar, (ScD. MIT), intellADAPT’sCEO and Founder and members of intellADAPT’s staff. The second even of the day was a Workshop for representatives from the six participating HBCUs will be held and conducted by intellADAPT staff.
The six HBCUs participating were Alabama A&M University, Alabama State University, Central State University (OH), Tougaloo College, The University of the District of Columbia, and the University of Maryland Eastern Shores. IntellADAPT looks forward to initiating collaborative efforts with these institutions to implement the pilot program in the near future.
