intellADAPT for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Subjects)
Many students struggle to master STEM courses, become discouraged, and turn away from their career target, when all they need is some extra explanation. intellADAPT fixes that problem by presenting topics through reading, games, hands-on practice, videos, and assessments to reinforce deep learning. intellADAPT’s platform with STEM courseware bridges the knowledge gap.
intellADAPT’s STEM courseware
intellADAPT has a portfolio of adaptive courses for STEM subjects available for the introductory or AP level taught typically to high school juniors and seniors and college freshmen and sophomores. Adaptive 2.0 courses are geared to reinforce instruction in the classroom, although some teachers use the content in a flipped classroom context.
Students find the courseware not only reinforces concepts, but also helps them prepare for exams, such as Advanced Placement exams and SAT2.
Courses available now include Physics, Algebra, Statistics, Biology, and Calculus. More courses are in development and will be released over the next few months.
intellADAPT can create custom courseware for any instructor in any subject. The Adaptive 2.0 platform enables educators to create their own course if they wish.
Professional Development for Teachers
Educators have long understood that differentiated instruction was optimal to reach individual learners. Why shouldn’t professional development be delivered the same way? intellADAPT offers professional development topics in the same differentiated instructional format that it uses for its other courseware.
While conducting research as the Principal Educational Architect at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Dr. Nish Sonwalkar noticed first-hand the struggles in learning that students faced. This led him to research how students learn and how they are best taught.
He received a patent and launched intellADAPT to overhaul the statusquo of ‘one-size-fits-all learning’ to help learners use their own best strategy to gain competency for any concept.
intellADAPT’s Adaptive 2.0 Learning Platform has underpinned several courses in Higher Education, K12, and professional development for teachers.
