Dr. Sonwalkar is regarded as a leading expert in the application of computers in education and social learning. He has extensive research and development experience in hypermedia authoring, mobile learning, adaptive learning, brain-based synaptic learning and adaptive MOOCs and social learning. Dr. Nish Sonwalkar in his former role as the Director of Hypermedia Teaching Facility and Principal Educational Architect at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), developed several distance learning technologies and programs. Sonwalkar is the recipient of the 2007 USDLA Award for Outstanding Leadership by an Individual in the Field of Distance Learning. He is founder and CEO of IntellADAPT dedicated for the use of Adaptive Learning for STEM Education. Dr. Sonwalkar holds Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) degree from MIT. (www.intelladapt.com)

Carolyn is a social researcher and graduate student in macro social systems. While completing a Master’s in macro social work at Boston University, she’ll be Head of Staff at LeanGap, an entrepreneurship accelerator summer program for high school students. She is a member of the winning MIT-Stanford blockchain hack-a-thon team, Fabriq; a social identity and reputation management system. Carolyn also serves as a marketing coordinator for CityAwake, an organization which strives to foster Boston’s social impact ecosystem through social entrepreneurship accelerator programs and community celebration.
PracticeGigs is peer-to-peer learning marketplace that enables tennis players to achieve their dreams by creating connections that allow them to improve. Our mobile app is tinder meets AirBnB for practicing. We help tennis playing schedule awesome practice sessions and if desired pay people better than them to play with them.
Shaped the company’s vision and established core team. Leangap Helps high school students launch companies in one summer through an intensive 6-week program that emphasizes hands-on exposure to entrepreneurship and boasts zero classroom time. The story of Leangap was covered on Business Insider, Business Journals, and Huffington Post a few months after the company’s founding and the team is taking the program to beta stage in summer of 2015. The company was co-founded with Joe Thornton (technology investor) and Tim Peterson (research fellow at Harvard University). Additional teammates include Daniel Arnold and Lisa Marrone, both students at Harvard Business School.
